Hello, and thanks for being here!

Nocturne Sweets is my creative outlet and a way for me to stay connected to the community I love. Most of my local connections over the years have come through music. When my kids were growing up, I was deeply involved in their musical pursuits, from high school marching band, orchestra, and jazz band to Nashville Youth Jazz Ensemble and School of Rock. These days, you’ll often find me checking out local cover bands on the weekends or singing along at karaoke night with friends.

When the time came to start something new in this stage of life, a musical nod felt just right. As a pianist myself, I’ve always had a special love for nocturnes, particularly those of Chopin. That love started with my own mom, who was my first piano teacher and introduced me to his music.

Pairing that lifelong love of music with my love of creating beautiful, delicious treats made Nocturne Sweets feel like the perfect name for this new adventure. My hope is that each little treat brings a bit of joy to your day, your gathering, or your special occasion.
