Hi! I’m Heather, the baker, and this is Ryka — the very spoiled German Shepherd behind Rykas Garden & Kitchen. 🐾
What started as a love of gardening and growing things at home (with a little help from Ryka digging up the garden 😂) along with my love of baking has grown into something I never expected: a little home bakery where I get to make sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, focaccia, brownies, and other homemade treats right here in my home, from scratch. And don’t forget about the gardening because I also grow seedlings for spring planting which is by far one of my favorite winter hobbies.
I love creating something from scratch and sharing it with people week after week. Thank you for supporting my journey!
