The Birth of Afro Caribbean Eats
After moving to Minnesota from New York City, I realized that I no longer had easy access to the bakery goodies I could usually grab on my way home in NYC. And just like that, Afro Caribbean Eats was born!
I had always shared my food adventures and creations on Instagram, but eventually, I decided to take things more seriously and create a dedicated page for my love of food. Five years later, I've finally built up the courage to share my baked goodies with you!
A Little About Me
I'm Bajan-Senegalese, with a father from Senegal and a mother from Barbados. I was born in New York City but raised in Senegal, and my background plays a huge role in the flavors, traditions, and inspiration behind Afro Caribbean Eats.
As a registered Cottage Food Producer, I'm excited to bring you a delicious blend of cultures through baked goods and other homemade treats. You'll find flavors and goodies inspired by my African, Caribbean, and multicultural roots, including some you may not have tried before!
I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, try something new, leave a review, and share your favorites with others.
Every bite tells a story, and I can't wait for you to taste mine!
Thank you for being part of this journey and supporting Afro Caribbean Eats.
