Frequently Asked Questions
Orders open on Sunday and close on Tuesday.
We offer free pickup from the cart at our home in Franksville/Norway (near Drought School). Exact pickup location is provided upon order confirmation. Pickup your order during the scheduled window that you choose at checkout.
Please reach out as soon as you know you’ll need an alternate pickup time. Unless you’ve contacted me before your scheduled pickup day and we’ve arranged another time, I can’t guarantee that your order will still be available. Since everything is baked fresh for each pickup, unclaimed orders may be donated.
Not at this time! Our sourdough is a multi-day process, so we bake based on pre-orders to make sure every loaf gets the time and care it needs. Keep an eye out for our weekly menu and order ahead to reserve your favorites!
Our new menu is posted every Sunday on social media at @cozycrumbsourdough. You can also click “Stay in the Loop” at the bottom of this site to receive weekly email notifications when the new menu drops!
There are NO preservatives in any of our bread. The bread can dry out and mold faster than store-bought! The best way to keep sourdough fresh is to store in a paper bag at room temperature for 3-4 days. You can also slice and freeze your bread for up to 6 months. Pop out a piece and toast it to have warm bread whenever you want!
Absolutely! Everything is baked to order. Our sourdough loaves are baked late the evening before pickup so they have plenty of time to cool completely before being packaged. Cookies, scones, and cinnamon rolls are baked fresh the morning of pickup so you’re getting them at their freshest!
Sourdough goes through a slow, multi-day fermentation process, which does more than give it that delicious tangy flavor! This fermentation process can make sourdough easier to digest, support gut health, and give it a lower glycemic response than some traditional breads. Plus, you get that chewy texture and crispy crust we all love!
