Oakes and Acorns Family Farm

About Oakes and Acorns Family Farm

The trifecta of homesteading is happening over here! Gardens, chickens and sourdough! We have 5 hilly acres in Rescue, Ca, nestled under oak trees where our little chickies like to free range. Baking sourdough became a fun hobby a few years ago, I would give bread to friends and family and now I’m getting weekly requests! Oakes and Acorns Family Farm was created to share the carbs all around! Named appropriately, our last name, and my sweet grandmama used to call our three kids our “little acorns.” Weekly bread updates will be posted here, I typically bake once a week, cause I can’t quit my day job…yet
