Frequently Asked Questions
There are multiple ways to store your bread while maintaining its freshness. For short-term storage (1-4 days), you can store your bread at room temperature in a linen bag, paper bag (which I provide), or a bread box. For long-term storage, you can cut your bread in slices and freeze your bread with parchment paper in between. Afterwards, store your bread in a freezer bag. When wanting a slice, just reheat it in the toaster oven for a fresh experience.
Sourdough takes 24–48 hours from start to finish. This includes mixing, slow fermentation, shaping, and baking. The long fermentation allows natural yeast to develop flavor, improve texture, and make the bread easier to digest—nothing is rushed.
