About The Lyric Loaf: Artisan Breads

The Lyric Loaf: Artisan Breads uses the highest quality flours and wheat berries available. All our grains and flours are organic and chosen for thier flavor profile, aroma, and texture. Most of our breads use a percentage of freshly milled flour, some as much as 40%. Our loafs are naturally leavened (sourdough), with most using a stiff starter. In case you are interested, my starter’s names are Duke Ellington (stiff starter), and Ella Fitzgerald (liquid starter). The music they make is as delightful as it is delicious. .
