Sourdough Loaf - Inclusions

These sourdough loaves may be boule (round) or batard (oval) shaped. They have inclusions such as chocolate chips, cinnamon raisins, dried fruit, caramel, cheese, garlic, olives, or herbs. The price difference is due to the additional ingredients and additional labor required to make these decadent breads. If you have specific inclusions you prefer, reach out and let me know! I love experimenting with new flavors and inclusions! One of my favorites is my Orange Chocolate Chip while my husband loves my Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip loaf. Homemade Vanilla Extract

Organic Madagascar vanilla beans (Grade A Premium Bourbon Pods) are split down the middle and immersed in 8 oz of quality bourbon. Each bottle is aged at least 30 days, but I try to age mine as long as possible. When you open your vanilla extract, you may see black "grits" in it. This is the vanilla that has leeched out of the whole beans into the bourbon in the bottle. It is perfectly fine for it to go into your food this way. Once you have used all of this yummy vanilla, you can refill with a bourbon of your choice and it will make more vanilla extract (the flavor will be lighter than the original). You can also throw out the beans, rinse the bottle, and use it for something else.

Ingredients: bourbon, organic vanilla beans
