J’Sweets | Ordering Policies 💗

Thank you for choosing J’Sweets! Every order is homemade and handcrafted with love, care, and attention to detail. To ensure a smooth ordering experience for both you and our business, please review our policies before placing an order.

1. Booking & Order Placement

All orders must be submitted through our official booking process. For inquiries, questions, or custom requests, please contact us through Instagram at @craftedbyjsweets.

Please provide your event date, desired desserts, quantity, flavors, and design inspiration when submitting your request.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee your date is booked. Your order is not confirmed until the required payment has been received and your order details have been finalized.

2. Payment Policy

• Orders totaling $400 or less must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
• Orders totaling over $400 require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed-upon deadline.
• Accepted payment methods include Cash App, Apple Pay, and cash, where applicable.
• Orders must be paid in full no later than two weeks before the scheduled event date, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Failure to submit payment by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the order.

3. Order Deadline & Rush Fees

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings, tiered cakes, and detailed custom designs.

Orders should be placed and paid for at least two weeks before the event date. Orders requested with less than two weeks' notice may be subject to a $25 rush fee, depending on availability and the complexity of the request.

Rush orders are not guaranteed and will only be accepted when our schedule allows.

4. Custom Cakes & Desserts

Every custom order is created specifically for the customer. Please provide detailed descriptions, inspiration photos, preferred colors, flavors, fillings, and any special requests when booking.

Please understand that:

• Final pricing depends on size, servings, flavors, ingredients, and design complexity.
• Inspiration photos serve as a reference. Exact duplication of another baker's work or a reference image cannot be guaranteed.
• Minor variations in color, decoration, and overall appearance may occur because each item is handcrafted.
• Changes requested after the design and order have been finalized may result in additional charges and are subject to approval.

Please review your order details carefully before confirming your booking.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Changes

Deposits are non-refundable. Because custom orders require advance planning, preparation, and ingredient purchases, cancellations and changes may affect the amount eligible for a refund.

Any cancellation or change request must be communicated directly to J’Sweets as soon as possible. Refund eligibility, where applicable, will depend on the order status, work already completed, and applicable law.

Once an order has been prepared or completed, refunds are not guaranteed. Please contact us directly to discuss any concerns regarding your order.

6. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup instructions and the designated pickup location will be provided to the customer before the scheduled pickup date. For privacy and safety, pickup details may not be shared until the order is ready for collection.

Delivery is generally available for tiered cakes and select special events. Delivery availability and fees depend on the order, distance, and event requirements. Delivery outside our service area, including out-of-city or out-of-state delivery, is not offered.

Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed-upon pickup time and ensuring someone is available to receive the order.

7. Cake Care & Customer Responsibility

All cakes and desserts are prepared with care before leaving J’Sweets. Once an order has been picked up or delivered and accepted by the customer, responsibility for proper transportation, storage, handling, and care transfers to the customer.

J’Sweets is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage, exposure to heat, or other conditions outside our control after the order has been released.

Please follow the cake care instructions provided with your order. Tiered cakes and delicate decorations require extra care during transportation and handling.

8. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Customers must disclose any known food allergies or dietary restrictions before placing an order. Our products may contain common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts, and cross-contact may occur during preparation.

Although we take care when preparing our products, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely allergen-free. Please review our Allergen Information page and contact us with any questions before ordering.

9. Customer Communication

Clear communication helps us create the best possible experience for every customer. Please ensure that your contact information, event date, order details, and design requests are accurate when booking.

Any questions or concerns about an existing order should be communicated directly to J’Sweets as soon as possible.
