About Mediocrity
Welcome to Mediocrity Sweets, where the cookies are decent, the bread is passable, and the baker is grumpy by design. I’m Robert: founder, baker, and part-time dad joke distributor behind this unapologetically average bakery. We started Mediocrity Sweets not to chase perfection or take ourselves too seriously, but to celebrate the cozy charm of imperfection, good company, and genuinely great baked goods hidden behind aggressively modest branding. Our motto? Texas’s most okayish bread and sweets. And we stand by it. Mostly. Truthfully, we think our stuff is better than most, but humility felt funnier. Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully you leave with a box of goodies, a full stomach, and at least one reluctant chuckle.

Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic. The cookies are some of the best I’ve had, and the sourdough is next level. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. The cheesecake is next on my list!
