About Us— We are a Cottage Food Bakery based in Central Texas, run by a brother-and-sister duo sharing old family recipes alongside our own modern twists. You can find us at local vendor markets and we also offer special orders for local pickup. Our Team— Sister: Ashlee Hart- balances baking with a full-time career while also being a devoted wife and mom. Brother: Kody Dodge- brings experience from culinary school and professional kitchens, paired with a full-time career. Our Story— Baking has been a lifelong passion for us. Many of our recipes were passed down for generations and baked alongside our mom while we were growing up. After her passing, baking together became a way to honor her memory and keep those traditions alive. We’re excited to share our homemade treats with our community and see where this journey takes us. There can be! We have tested a LOT of them over the years and have some of the best as options for you. If you are curious about a combo you may like please feel free to reach out and we can discuss them more :)
Yes, will will try to offer nearly every option at our markets but offerings are a little different. For Rum Cakes we will sell slices and half cakes. For cookies we have Build-A-Box options with smaller quantities. Flavor options may vary and we may have seasonal options not available on the site.
At this time no, our great grandmas were definitely not counting carbs or battling any gluten intolerances and their recipes reflected that. In the future we would like to try and incorporate some options but baking is a chemistry game and it’s not a very easy switch so it will take us some time.
NO. Some of the rum bakes off in the baking process but the glaze it soaks in does not bake off so it does contain alcohol.
I can’t have a whole liquor department in my house so our options are limited. You may have a Rum or alcohol you’d prefer for your rum cake and therefore you can provide us a bottle of your preferred to use. And we will return the bottle and its remaining contents at your order delivery. We’ll discuss the amount needed during the order process.
No we don’t. We could possibly fulfill an order for an event but it would be normal pick up and have to get prior approval due to the quantity needed.
