FIVE STARS?? Wish we could give 10! When you find a small business entrepreneur with an amazing combination of both skill AND passion, you just can't help but cheer them onward and upward. The cookies are soooo good, and that sourdough is simply as good as it gets! Kate and Sugarbat Bakehouse is a pure delight to work with. In a world of "get it out the door and move on to the next", she truly wants to make certain that each order is accurate and each customer feels special. This young lady is a rising star! Thank you so much, Kate!

What a fun wat to show some love to someone- a cookie delivery! I loved the cute batty packaging, but the cookies were the star of the show! Our fav is bat chip, but the peanut butter are a close second. Can't wait to try them all, and maybe some bread! Thank you, Sugarbat!

Absolutely! Most breads freeze beautifully. For best results, wrap the loaf tightly or store it in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months. (See Reheating tips below)
Reheating a whole loaf restores its crispy crust and soft interior. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F. Mist with water: Run the frozen loaf quickly under a cold tap. Alternatively, spray it generously with water. This creates steam to crisp the crust. Bake directly: Place the wet, frozen loaf directly on the middle oven rack. Heat thoroughly: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the center is warm. Cool down: Rest the loaf for 10 minutes before slicing.
Slices do not need to be thawed and should be cooked directly from frozen. Option 1: The Toaster (Fastest) Drop in frozen: Place frozen slices straight into the toaster. Adjust settings: Turn the dial slightly higher than you would for fresh bread. Toast: Run a normal cycle until golden brown. Option 2: The Skillet (Best for Texture) Heat pan: Warm a skillet over medium heat. Add fat: Melt a small pat of butter or olive oil in the pan. Toast sides: Place frozen slices in the pan. Cover with a lid for 2 minutes to thaw the center. Crisp up: Remove the lid. Flip and toast each side until crisp.
Store bread in a bread box, paper bag, or airtight container at room temperature. Avoid refrigerating bread, as it tends to dry it out more quickly. For longer storage, freeze it.
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days to keep them fresh and chewy. Cookies freeze wonderfully. Place them in a freezer-safe container or bag for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature, or warm one in the microwave for 10–15 seconds for that fresh-from-the-oven experience.
Our sourdough is best enjoyed within 2–4 days when stored properly. Because it contains no artificial preservatives, freshness is naturally shorter than store-bought bread.
No. Our baked goods are made with quality ingredients and contain no artificial preservatives, so they're best enjoyed fresh.
