Save customer birthdays and other custom dates

Add annual dates and notes to a customer record and find them in Calendar.

Open Customers, choose the customer's record, and find Custom Dates. Use these for birthdays, anniversaries and other dates you want to remember.

  1. Select the add-date control and choose a label or enter the date's name.
  2. Choose Month and Day. Year is optional; enter it when that detail is useful.
  3. Add Notes for context, then save the date. Check the saved entry before closing the customer record.
  4. Use the entry's edit or delete control to correct or remove it. Changes to these entries save through their own actions.
  5. Check Calendar for the customer's date. Calendar places custom dates by month and day each year; entering a year does not make the event appear only in that original year.

A custom date is a reminder in your customer records and Calendar. It does not create an order, reserve capacity, send a birthday campaign or authorize promotional messages. To offer a birthday promotion, compose and review a blast yourself using an appropriate audience and consented channel.

If a date is missing from the month you expect, reopen the customer and verify the month/day and saved entry. Check Calendar's visible dates and display controls. Custom dates are separate from fulfillment blocks and weekly opening hours; adding a birthday does not close the day to orders.
