Send emails from your own domain
Send customer email from your business domain and set your reply-to address.
Go to Account → Email sending domain to configure the address used to send customer emails.
- Enter Your domain as a domain name, without https:// or an email address.
- Add the exact DNS records shown at your domain provider and wait for the status to become Verified. Emails continue to use Bakebug's sending address while verification is pending.
- After verification, enable Send customer emails from … and set the local part of the Sending address, such as “orders”.
- Select the Reply-to address separately: your Bakebug account email, a confirmed Contact Us email, or the available custom sending address.
The From address and Reply-to address serve different purposes. Choosing a custom sender does not automatically change where replies go.
Under Account → Storefront Contact Email, set the Contact Us email, complete its confirmation, and choose whether to show it publicly. A pending contact address is not yet available as a confirmed reply-to choice. Connecting a storefront domain and verifying an email sending domain are separate setups.
