Set a minimum order amount

1. Go to Business → Store Configuration.
2. Set Minimum order amount. Set it to 0 for no minimum.
3. Select Save.

A fulfillment method can require a higher minimum (for example for delivery). Set this under Business → Fulfillment Methods → Minimum order amount (optional). Customers must meet whichever is higher. Carts with only digital items are exempt.

For example, with a store minimum of 20 and a delivery-method minimum of 35, that delivery option requires 35. Raising a product's minimum quantity is a different rule—it controls item quantity, not the store's minimum cart amount.

Check the selected fulfillment method when a cart meets the store minimum but still cannot proceed.
