Hide, show or archive a product

Control whether customers can see and buy a product.

Open a product under Products → All Products, change its visibility controls and select Save.

  • Product Status → Listed makes it eligible to appear in the regular shop. Give it a category so customers can find it in the shop's category listing.
  • Unlisted normally removes it from the regular shop while allowing use in presales and merchant-created quotes/orders. With Products → Settings → Show All Published Products in Shop enabled, unlisted products appear with a live presale link or as Preview only instead.
  • Archived hides a retired product from the shop, presales and checkout.
  • Draft hides it from customers even when its status is Listed or it belongs to a presale. The Draft control appears when Show All Published Products in Shop is enabled. Turn Draft off when the product is ready.
  • Add-on Only Product, in Add-Ons, is for items customers buy alongside another product rather than on their own.

Sold Out is calculated from stock; there is no product-level Sold Out switch. To keep a regular product listed but give it no available main stock, enable Stock Management → Track Main Product Stock and set Product Stock to 0. Daily limits, required variation stock, shared pools and bundle components can also prevent purchases. See stock and daily capacity.

Visibility and direct ordering are separate. In Fulfillment, Allow customers to order directly controls direct checkout; a listed product also needs eligible fulfillment options and an available date.

To change several products, select their rows in the product list and use the bulk actions. Check the skipped-products message: some actions do not apply to every product type.
