Organize products into categories

Open Products → Categories to organize product browsing. Category membership is separate from product status and featured placement.

1. Create a category with its name, then open it to manage its products.
2. Edit Category Name and select the products that belong in the category.
3. Drag its product rows into the desired order and save the category editor. Also save list-level ordering changes when the category list offers its Save control.
4. Use the category's bulk operations when moving selected products to another category. Review the selected products and destination before applying the operation.
5. Visit the shop and check the category and product order.

To delete a product category containing products, use the editor's deletion flow to select all its products and move them to the required destination category before deletion. Do not delete the products themselves just to reorganize categories. A draft, unlisted or archived product still follows its visibility rules after a move.

Presale Categories and Event Categories have their own managers under Presales and Events. Use those lists to name categories and organize their respective content; a product category does not also categorize a presale or event. The featured managers are separate again and control the promoted lists.

If an item does not appear where expected, check its saved category, category order and item visibility/ordering status. For a product that appears but cannot be bought, follow the stock and availability guides rather than trying to solve it through category placement.
