Why a product is sold out or cannot be ordered

Trace stock, required options, pools, bundles and product visibility.

Start by identifying whether the product is missing, visible but sold out, or available until the customer chooses a date.

  1. Missing from the shop: open the product and check Listed status, Draft, category and Add-on Only Product. Unlisted products can still be used in presales. With Show All Published Products in Shop, they may appear as presale links or previews; archived/draft products remain hidden from customers.
  2. Visible but sold out: check Stock Management → Track Main Product Stock → Product Stock. Then check required variation-option stock and its assigned Order Pool. Any one of these can be the limiting factor.
  3. Bundle sold out: inspect component quantities and stock, required component options and component pools. The bundle cannot be made if a required component is unavailable.
  4. Only one date unavailable: inspect daily product/pool counts and that date's Calendar rules. Daily capacity is specific to the fulfillment date.
  5. Presale product unavailable: open the presale's product/option/component limits, its Inventory Pools, and the selected window's Max Orders. Regular product stock does not supply those presale limits.
  6. Stock is available but ordering is not: check direct checkout and fulfillment options, then follow the checkout availability checklist.

There is no product-level Sold Out status to turn off. Fix the limiting stock or rule, save, and try the same quantity/options/date as the customer. Increasing only main stock will not fix an exhausted required option or shared pool.
